besides the Anapanasati Sutta and the Satipatthana Sutta are there many other suttas whose main focus is meditation? maybe we should get a list going? which help you out the most, are your favorites etc..

Greetings JC, MN 20: Vitakkasanthana Sutta is a good one. I'm starting to find that even suttas not specifically about meditation are also very relevant... particularly those that discuss anatta, sunnatta, elements, aggregates, sense bases, dependent origination etc. Looked at that way, the majority of suttas are about meditation. Metta, Retro.

there is MN 119 Kayagata-sati Sutta Mindfulness Immersed in the Body www.accesstoinsight.org/tipitaka/mn/mn.119.than.htmlbut generally I think if we look at the satipatthana sutta and if there is an area we want to look at further look for a Sutta with either the same title or subject?
